FIA confirms Ford will return to the FIA World Rally Championship (FIA WRC) with a Full Factory Programme from 2028. Ford becomes the fourth constructor to commit to developing a car under the FIAâs new WRC27 technical regulations. The brand will work with long-standing partner M-Sport on an all-new WRC car built to the championshipâs new WRC27 technical regulations, due to make its competitive debut in 2029. Fordâs expanding motor sport programme will give the manufacturer a presence across four FIA World Championships from 2028.

The FIA has announced the FIA Region II (Asia-Pacific) Champions for the third edition of the FIA Innovation Challenge 2026 at its Asia-Pacific Congress in Boracay, Philippines. This yearâs Champions are the Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV, Australia; Member of the Australian Automobile Association) and the Automobile Association of Ceylon (AAC, Sri Lanka). The FIA Innovation Challenge celebrates projects from across the four FIA Mobility Regions in the Member Clubsâ network, driving mobility solutions for all road users.
